Within the supply chain, eggs are exposed to different room temperatures and humidity levels at different storage locations. Even slight differences can lead to condensation – with negative consequences: Moisture destroys the natural protective layer of the egg shell and makes it more permeable to germs. If the condensation does not dry quickly, it encourages the formation of stains and mold.

If the goods are immediately exposed to air at high speed in their new storage location, the condensation can dry off quickly and the protective function of the egg tray is retained. Stains and mold can be avoided.
