Preventing heat stress during milk production

Our cows like it best between -4 and 5 degrees when they are in the first 100 days of lactation. High temperatures make it difficult for the animals – after all, producing milk is exhausting. Our CAT3000® hose ventilation system helps to prevent the effects of heat. We all have access to fresh air free of charge and it is very valuable for the health of our animals! Fans usually only circulate warm, humid and germ-laden air. They also consume a lot of electricity. In contrast, our tube ventilation brings fresh air to every place and thus contributes to the health of the cows. The best cubicles are often occupied by higher-ranking animals and lower-ranking animals have less chance of cooling down sufficiently. This is possible with CAT3000® tube ventilation! Fans are not able to direct the air so evenly and precisely to all cubicles. Our Vario nozzles direct the fresh air to where it is needed. The air flows from top to bottom at a speed of up to three meters per second. Fans only have an air speed of 0.6 meters at a distance of 4.5 meters. Most of the air does not reach the animals. With hose ventilation, all areas in the barn can be supplied with fresh air in a targeted manner.
